Q: Does it use piezo electric ignition?
A: No, it's for manual ignition.
Q: Does it come with a butane canister included?
A: No, it comes without a canister due to safety issues, it is easy to order the butane cartridges online or buy from local shop.
Q: How to light it and turn it off?
A: Before igniting, make sure you open the gas flow control lever to release fuel. Use a lighter or match to light it. Turn the gas flow control lever clockwise to shut off the gas, it turns off.
Q: What type of fuel does this camping stove need?
A: Compatible with any bayonet seat fuel canister. If you only have threaded butane canister, you need buy a adaptor to connect them. This is designed for pressurized gas canister of butane, isobutane or prapane. It's not for any liquid fuel like gasoline, kerosene, alcohol, white gas, etc.
Q: Can we remove the butane can for storage and then reattach for the next use?
A: Yes, you can screw it on and off as needed. Before storage, please let it cool down.
Q: Can you control the flame height?
A: Yes you can, the wire lever on the side controls the intensity of the flame, you can turn clockwise and counter clockwise to adjust the flame.
Q: How long does it take to boil one liter of water?
A: Depends on elevation and height where your burner is on, normally can be boilded 1.5L water in 5-10 minutes on the max. flame .
Q: Can I use indoors?
A: We suggest not. If the gas doesn't fully combust, unburnt fuel gas and carbon monoxide in the room will be dangerous for you. If you really have to do this for some reasons, make sure it is a well-ventilated space.
Q: How loud is it?
A: It does sound like a torch, the lower the setting is, the more quiet it is.
